The Great Unknown

TEDx Experience

Annually, the conference revolves around a central theme. "The Great Unknown" was conceptualised as the centerpiece of our discussion. We were captivated by the duality of humanity's reaction to the future - both exhilaration and apprehension. Despite our best efforts to plan and predict, the truth remains that we can never truly know what the future holds. Life is an unknown, and it's up to us to approach it with either excitement or fear. The choice is ours. 

Within an engagement period of eight weeks, we executed a comprehensive marketing campaign that included a brand video, social media initiatives, OOH, a marketing website, an event microsite, influencer-generated content, on-the-day production, environmental signage, and an artist activation - all aimed at promoting self-reflection and showcasing our new theme.

CONFERENCE IDENTITY:

The visual identity blurs the lines between yesterday and tomorrow, weaving together threads of the past and present.  We combined elements of tradition and modernity through the use of kaleidoscopic grain film textures and contemporary photography. The fragmented typeface represents the shattering of old patterns and the coming together of new ideas. Each iteration of the brand invites the viewer to delve deeper, to question their place in a world that is ever-changing and, at times, disconnected. Are you ready to confront your own connection in this kaleidoscope of time?

HYPE VIDEO:

Generating anticipation and excitement prior to an event is a crucial component of its success. To get the ball rolling, we offered a tantalizing preview through introspective interviews with our speakers, in which they shared their personal thoughts on the theme. By giving a sneak peek into the event, its potential speakers, and other exciting elements, we were able to build a buzz and stir up excitement for the main event.

OPENING TITLES:

Rouse the senses with motion. We crafted mesmerizing morning and afternoon opening titles to whet the audience's appetite and stoke their curiosity, in an effort to banish attention fatigue and keep the energy high throughout the event.

ARTIST ACTIVATION FOOTNOTES:

Mondu Qu [United Make] teamed up with [ Perfume Playground ] and [ Creso Pharma ] to bring a breathtaking light installation to life. This large-scale display infused the air with fragrant Australian botanical extracts and Cannabis Science, designed to uplift the senses and sharpen focus for a day filled with thought-provoking ideas.
